Canva has an amazing FREE option to create graphics and that's always a great place to start until you realize how absolutely amazing and fun it is to create your graphics.
You can open a Canva account and try out the FREE version or upgrade to the PRO Version here: Canva
Some of the features I will be pointing out do require the Pro version, but others do not.
1. Finding Your Perfect Background
Canva has a ‘background' feature, but if you use the photo option and put in a search for ‘Purple background' you get a lot more options.
This is really useful when you're trying to match a particular color. Searching gradients or a mix of colors is pretty cool too.
I will probably say this again, but Canva is only limited by your imagination.
2. The Background Remover
I have to admit this is probably the feature I use the most.
When you are building a business online and branding yourself you want to be in most of your graphics in many different ways.
This feature is so useful to put yourself or anyone in a photo in so many unique ways

3. Equally Spacing Elements and Pictures
When maintaining symmetry is important this feature comes in real handy. It makes your designs look professional and organized.
Canva gives you the option to equally space all the selected elements vertically or horizontally in just one click. The tidy-up button keeps them looking neat.

4. Using Frames to Create Unique Shapes for Your Photos or backgrounds
- Go to the Elements section and search for Frames
- Pick the one that best suits the graphic you are creating (hint: scroll all the way down and there are even letters you can use for Text overlays.)
- Now just drag and drop your photo or background onto the frame

5. Crazy Cool Features to Edit Your Photos
Canva has built in features to edit your photos a little bit like photoshop. You can adjust brightness, contrast and saturation. There a some filters you can add and different shadows.
6. Text Effects and Animation
Canva has some pretty neat features you can do with your text.
When you have a text box in the top Bar you will see ‘Effects' you click on that and you will see the options.
You also have an animate option. You can have the text move in many ways. You need to download this as MP4 for the features to carry over.
I hope these tips and tricks will help you create beautiful designs for your marketing in no time.
