I've often asked my mentors and other entrepreneurs what they do on a daily basis to work on their business and move it forward.

I've had different things that I have focused on at different points in my business growth, but I have learned to use a Power List instead of the unending to do list.

The Power List is unique because it is limited to 5 things max. Five things that will move your business and life forward.

I always do 4 things for my business and 1 thing that is more personal.

I think about and write out my power list the night before so I can get on it first thing the next day.

It doesn't necessarily mean that is all I do each day, but those are the things I focus on getting done each day and anything else is a bonus.

An example of my Power List would be:

  1. 10, 10, 3 (requesting 10 new likeminded friends, 10 conversations, and 3 invites)
  2. 20, 20, 20 (20 minutes of personal development, 20 minutes of engaging on my audience's social media, 20 minutes to post/FB Live)
  3. Exercise
  4. Specific Task (ie: blog, schedule Pinterest pins, creating special content)
  5. Gratitude journal, prayer and or meditation

The Power List changes as things become habits. The Power list's power is creating new habits so certain actions aren't so hard to keep doing every day because they become your new habits.
