While participating in The Ultimate Blog Challenge I am giving more a sneak peak into my life and more personal things than my usual marketing or business posts.
Today, I was given the prompt of sharing around a photo. I have a hard time sharing just one photo so I have a few all around the same place near my home.
I live in the foot hills of the Appalachian Mountains. I am a little bias but, it is a beautiful place to live.
My husband and I were hiking The Peaks of Otter which is one of the more popular hikes in our area. It's about 2 miles up a very steep, rocky incline. This lovely deer in the photo above actually followed me for quite some time. I got the impression she was a very well fed ‘wild' deer. She unfortunately did not have much fear of humans.
We live in a lovely place to visit!! We are just a few hours from Washington DC. We are about 1 1/2 hours from Charlottesville. If you enjoy visiting historical places or hiking in the beautiful BlueRidge mountains. We have gentle hikes and challenging hikes for all experiences.

I have hiked the Northern part of the Appalachian trail, not the southern part in the actual Appalachian mountains! (I know! Backwards!) Your photos are beautiful! I am grateful you shared them – your AirBnB looks great!
Thank you!! It's a beautiful place to live. I use think they were a decent size mountains until i visited Colorado now they look like hills. Beautiful hills none the less.
I love visiting historical sites. I've traveled quite a bit through the US. The charcoal ovens in Nevada are amazing to visit. Crazy that it was all built by hand. I've lived in a haunted house in Galveston Texas for 2 weeks. That was both interesting and nerve racking at times.
These are beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing them with us!
Oh my gosh I would love to stay in a haunted house!!! You're in charge of booking places when the team travels. It's just gets better and better!! Can't wait to see what you book next!!
